We do this by advertising them in the Hobart Mercury.

Code for Tenders and Contracts

We have published a Code for Tenders and Contracts that provides an organisation-wide approach to publishing in tenders and entering into contracts with suppliers.

Tenders are invited for the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase of the Brighton Council Chambers Refurbishment project at the Brighton Council Chambers building, 1 Tivoli Road, Old Beach, TAS 7017. Further information may be obtained by visiting www.brighton.tas.gov.au/council/tenders/ or by contacting Brighton Council’s Engineering Project Officer, Isabella Fyfe at isabella.fyfe@brighton.tas.gov.au.

Tenders should be clearly marked “RFT – Brighton Council Chambers Refurbishment – Early Contractor Involvement” and may be deposited in the Tender Box at the Brighton Council Offices, 1 Tivoli Road, Old Beach, TAS 7017 or received by mail prior to the closing date.

Tenders will be accepted up until Friday 20th November 2026 at 5.00pm.

The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted. Emailed, faxed or late tenders will not be accepted.
